Phlebotomy Training

Clinical Response Training provides the hands-on clinical experience needed for both employment readiness and national certification eligibility. Our program includes supervised venipuncture practice and skills training that meet common employer and certification body expectations, allowing students to pursue employment upon successful completion of training, with or without national certification.

Our 1-day group session provides the foundation for your clinical experience, allowing you to begin your required venipuncture practice under instructor supervision. Students may complete their required blood draws during the session or schedule additional practice sessions at no additional cost until all certification requirements are met. 

During class, you’ll also complete a practice certification exam to help you feel confident and prepared for your official test. Once you’re ready, you can schedule your national certification exam with Clinical Response Training proctoring and personalized preparation support included.

In the state of Florida, national phlebotomy certification is not required for employment, as there is currently no state-mandated phlebotomy license. To work as a phlebotomist, individuals must complete an approved phlebotomy training program and typically hold a high school diploma or GED.

While certification is not required by the state, many employers prefer or encourage national certification (such as NHA, AMT, or ASCP) as it demonstrates professional competency and commitment to quality patient care. Some employers may also require documented proof of 100 or more successful venipunctures.
